Oh boy, Argentina. Their defence is medium standard at best, and I think this is an area that Argies have to work at in the future. We were always accustomed to seeing Zanetti, Samuel, and Demichelis in the past, but all of these are now past it, they'll still be taken probably but not to start (maybe Zanetti). Midfield is a filler, 2 defensive minded midfielders whose main jobs will be to get the ball quickly. Mascherano will be vital to this role, he takes no bullshit and will rip the ball from anyone's feet. Now, the magic of this team is upfront; Tevez, Aguero, Higuain, Lavezzi are all options for striker, Gaitan and Di Maria are locks for wings, and the magician we all know and love, Messi is present in the hole. If Argentina makes a possession tactic centred around getting the ball to Messi and only Messi, or giving the ball to any of their talented poachers, it's over. WC champions for sure if they get over their selfishness.
