Ballspielverein Borussia 09 e.V. Dortmund, commonly known as Borussia Dortmund, built up a fantastic young side within their limited budget, with which they competed against all the mighty European Teams before losing 2-1 to the fellow German club, the mighty Bayern München, both in the Bundesliga and in the UEFA Champions League Final. This was the first all German Final in the UEFA Champions League, as the two German clubs battled it out for the European glory, while they dominated all other clubs before that.

The number of fantastic players coming out of the Dortmund facility is truly overwhelming, and the way they beat the mighty Real Madrid in the UCL semi-final 1st leg, was a reminder of their incredible talent.
