its a simple but effective formation, many tactics can be implemented and put to good use. the positioning of the two strikers varies because we need to be able to link the midfield to the attack. having an out and out striker as well as a creative one creates the ultimate pairing upfront that should test even the most disciplined defences. having the defensive midfielder provides extra cover if needed for the back four anjd should be almost a creative, hard tackling, defiant midfielder who sweeps and cleans anything before it can reach the defence (this player can push up if needed).
