Manchester City Football Formation

Lineup (4-3-2-1)

I think Mancini will go with this formation against Chelsea. He will want to keep the team solid through the middle with De Jong, Yaya and Barry providing plenty of strength and discipline. He will be relying on Silva, Tevez and Yaya to give us creativity going forward with Milner giving us some good energy and deliveries from set pieces and wide areas. City will probably be limited to few oppertunities and will have to be clinical in front of goal.

The back four pretty much picks apart from maybe Zabaleta could come in for either Kolarov or Richards. For me though Richards has been one of our best players in the last few weeks. Lescott and Kompany seem to be forming a decent partnership at centre half, with Lescott playing hos best football since joining the blues.
