Gerrard dictating the match, pushing ahead in the midfield with Lucas doing the holding and the defensive work. Dirk Kuyt driving in to the centre and Ashley Young driving in to the centre in attack allowing full backs to deliver crosses to the central striker Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez craacking the opposition's defence with his pace and allowing Andy Carroll to go to open spaces for early balls to be delivered to him. Good counter attacking as well, Ashley young can alson deliver crosses into the box for Andy carroll when left full back is still guarding his position.. .Basically a winning formation.. .Needs the owners to re-invest in the squad by getting these two players; Ashley Young for £20million and Leighton Baines for £16million.. .and that requires some guts. And then Liverpool will get back to their winning streak and probably reach champions league football once again while Man City and Tottenham are still trying to gel.
