Lineup (5-4-1)

Although it is LIKE a 5-4-1 - it is really a 5-2-2-1. The idea is: 1 GK. 3 CENTRAL DEFENDERS with strict defensive duties & 2 (one on each side) LATERAL DEFENDERS to support the midfield UP TO THE CENTER CIRCLE - only going beyond it IF REALLY NECESSARY. 2 CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS with both attacking & defending duties - covering for each other & aiding the defense when the lateral defenders are moving forward with the ball (or without) & aiding the attack on occasions as well as cover the wider areas of midfield when the (or 1 of the) lateral attacking midfielders have taking up an advanced role. 2 LATERAL ATTACKING MIDFIELDERS who are also able to play through the middle with the responsibility to create opportunities, running at defenders & going past players, building up the play & freeing spaces for the central striker to exploit. - at times (and if needed) one of them or both (according to the circumstaces) will take up the role of another striker (thus playing with 2 or 3 strikers)
& 1 STRIKER who can also hold up the play (if & when needed - according to circumstances) & who also can dribble, but is a lethal finisher - his main duty is to score goals but also providing assists if other players are in a better position.
