Spain Formation 2014

Spain Football Formation

Creation DateJanuary 2, 2014

Lineup (4-3-3)

Iker Casillas · Sergio Ramos · Carles Puyol · Sergio Busquets · Jesus Navas · Xabi Alonso · Juan Carlos Valeron · Xavi Hernandez · Andres Iniesta · Bojan Krkic · Fernando Torres

This is my favorite lineup for Spain in the 433 formation. I feel this is a very attacking offensive lineup with Navas as the secret weapon from the back. Navas is a good defender and can catch up to anyone. Also I feel Bojan is effective for creating and taking shots at goal and will help Torres get his chances to score as well. Valeron has long legs and can stop through balls, but he is the Pass Master for pushing forward balls. Bojan is a great weapon who can score and cross balls. He has great dribbling skills as does Iniesta. Busquets has earned a central defensive role and still can command mid-field with Xabi and Xavi for passing triangles with Iniesta also cutting in and Bojan to offer more support in possession. Puyol's experience is important and he is preferred over Alba who is not quite disciplined to handle strong wingers. Puyol is also a better passer then Alba. Ramos of course is a great defender and he is solid in the back. Casillas is the Captain and Leader of La Roja. Ready Off the bench as substitutes would be Llorente, Muniain, Costa, Martinez, Fabregas, Valdes, and Deulofeu.
