Arsenal don't play with any natural out-and-out wingers or with much width; and everything is generally neat and tidy in midfield. It frustrates the life out of me to see just Giroud up front on his own.

This formation ensures that we have two up front, a good combination of pace and power/strength.

Flamini needs to simply hold and distribute the ball simply, no nonsense or fancy stuff. Just get the ball and give it.

Similar to the formation that is working wonders for Liverpool.

Fullbacks Sagna and Gibbs can provide the width, as can the midfield trio of Ramsey, Cazorla and Ozil.
