Italy Football Formation

Lineup (4-2-3-1)

We will be playing a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Defensive pair of Thuram and Ayala.A stable back two which is aerially solid as well on the ground and can keep a pacy striker like Henry quiet or a CF like Batigol who is physically strong.
Gentile and Schellinger will be our Fullbacks will bomb forward whenever needed.
Rijkaard will control the midfield,make his presence felt keeping an eye on Pele's movements nullifying his effect on the game.Suarez plays the DLP and Rijkaard will try to provide him with enough space and time on the ball to work his magic through.Rivera plays as the CAM.He usually drops deep to add numbers to the midfield,he will play the connector between the midfield and the attack.He will collect the ball and take it forward while Rijkaard and suarez sit deep to shield the back four.

Tactical Play 1:POSSESSION FOOTBALL
Our Opposition have been already defeated by possesion based football earlier so we try to play just that.The Players we have are perfectly suited for this gameplay.We have got some excellent passers and readers of the game in Rijkaard,Suarez and Rivera.They will look to combine well take the ball forward for the front three to work through and score.Mixing and changing the formation into 4-3-3

Front 3 consists of Dzajic-MVB-and Jairzinho evryone playing their natural games taking on their marker, trying to get past him relying from the support centrally too.

Tactical Play :2: WING-PLAY
If Possession football fails to exploit we change our gameplan to Wingplay.With the exceptional Wingers we have in Dzajic and Jairzinho we expect to win the wing battle with Schellinger bombing forward to combine with Dzajic and destroy Bergomi.We expect Jairzinho to get the better of Brehme on the Right,he will try to cut inside and score or assist to mvb to capatalise on ocassions.MVB will lead the line playing his natural game as before ,will look for support from the wings.Rivera is also instructed to try and take the ball towards the flanks for Jairzinho and Dzajic to work through.
