Chemistry is important for central midfield and gerrard sterling and henderson have been playing together for an entire season, and successfully too. Also, the right wing combination of johnson and sterling will also add the the attacking impetus. The chemistry between sturridge and sterling is also important. Lallana has been a phenomenal performer for the saints and his key attribute is his ability to penetrate single handedly many times also. Baines will be his usual maurading self and will put in plenty of quality crosses making sure opponent's right side will have plenty of defending to do and cant get forward too much themselves.

Gerrard brings experience. Henderson brings stamina and dynamics. Lallana brings creativity. Sturridge brings finishing. Sterling brings pace. Baines and johnson bring overlap and attacking support. Rooney brings creativity, workrate, and is an able leader for the attacking players of England. The defence has performed well this season. Keeper Hart picks himself.
