About this formation:
Johnson and A. Cole will bomb forward down the wings and supply the crosses for the two centre forwards.
One of Gerrard or Lampard will stay back in front of the two central defenders to let the other get forward and support the strikers.
Lennon will use his pace down the right wing, cutting inside, as well as racing down the line to cause problems to the other team's left-back, while J. Cole will cut inside from the left and create chances for the team.
Rooney will drop deep and supply chances for the rest of the team and have a crack at goal himself alongisde Crouch in attack, who will use his height to cause problems in the air and lay the ball off to teammates.
