A 4-2-3-1 that is the formation Lucho use, with Fc Barcelona current squad it cannot be applied perfectly so few changes would do as shown. This formation would be better defensively and If played with both Messi and Neymar on the sides where both will be free can take more risks and attempts cause a double pivot formation (Busi and Mach) However it cannot be totally implemented cause the attacking midfield in the center must have some defensive skills additional to passing abilities to postpone counter attacking from the center or intercept so I think Koke would be perfect for this role. A 9 like Immobile due to his efficiency on target, this season he had 3.1 average shots per game not to mention that he can score in any way. All teams expect Messi to score and that's why it's becoming easier to stop the best player in the world and that's because Iniesta , Xavi do not score much and attempt on target and because of the no actual 9 formation but with this formation Immobile/Messi/Neymar/Koke all can score.
