3-5-2 or 3-2-3-2 has the advantage of stopping Counter-Attacks and the team can attack with more players. The Defenders are going to contribute to attack as well. In the defense the wingers are going to play the Full-Back roles and the Midfielder are going to Strength the defense line.

ter Stegen is a very reliable GoalKeeper that can play the role of a sweeper too.
Pique isn't very fast so he is behind the other defenders.
Bartra is more agile and fast so he is the right defender.
Inigo Martinez is the perfect player to complete the defend line. He is quick, agile and can defend the left side all by him self.
Busquets is the Defensive Midfielder because of his defending skills and can connect defense to attack.
Miralem Pjanic is the Centeral Midfielder. His skills of managing the pitch can make him the best predecessor to Xavi.
Ivan Rakitic is the Attacking Midfielder. He is the playmaker of the team.
The Wingers are Marco Reus and Neymar Jr.. Both have amazing dribbling capabilities and can make trouble for the opposite's defenders and use long balls and through passes to make goal scoring opportunities.
Messi play as a False 9 and can help attacking from back of the opposite's box by his dribbling and passing and creation capabilities. Also he can go in the box for assist and scoring goals.
Luis Suarez is the Striker. His finishing capabilities can ensure the goals but he is playing from behind the box so he can use his drilling capabilities to assist other players, too.
