Starting Lineup

Gangwon relies on a direct and vertical style of play using a 3-5-2 formation. This lineup is built to win the second ball and transition quickly to catch the opposition before they can settle. The team looks to use the width of the pitch to stretch the defence and create openings in the middle.

ㅇㅇㅇ operates between the posts to organize the back line. Gangwon gains a significant advantage through wide overloads when ㅐㅐㅐㅐ and ㅠㅠㅠ push high. This forces the opposition to defend more space and can isolate the wide players in one on one situations. The formation also offers compactness when defending in a mid-block.
