Moreirense utilizes a direct and vertical style of play through a 4-2-4 formation. This lineup is built to play with high intensity, looking to move the ball from the defensive third to the attacking third in as few passes as possible. In goal, KEWIN manages the defensive unit and organizes the back four. The defenders operate as a flat back four, with PINTO and MARCHETTI acting as the wide defenders. PINTO and MARCHETTI can push up to overlap the winger, while ALI and MARACAS hold the central positions. ALI and MARACAS focus on winning the header and clearing the lines during periods of sustained pressure. The back line must stay compact to avoid being split by through balls.
