Pedri plays as an inverted eight to receive on the half turn and connect the defensive and attacking lines. Eric García and Gerard Martín provide width in the midfield roles, helping to spread wide and create passing lanes. This group works to compress the midfield and deny the turn to any opposition attackers.

The attacking line is extremely aggressive with four players pushing forward. Lamine Yamal and Raphinha act as wide wingers who stay high to stretch the defence, with Lamine Yamal often looking to cut inside. Fermín López and Ferrán Torres work as a two man partnership in the center. Fermín López uses his high pressing intensity to hunt the ball, while Ferrán Torres looks to make runs in behind the opposition line. The team relies on quick combinations to catch opponents off guard.

This lineup offers the advantage of significant numerical superiority in the attacking third. By using four attackers, Barcelona can pin the last defender and force a long ball from the opposition.
