Barcelona focuses on controlling the middle and playing through the lines with a 2-5-3 formation. This lineup aims to dominate the center of the pitch by creating massive numerical superiority in the middle third. Ananda starts in goal to organize the defense. The back line consists of a narrow two man unit with Shuvo / Foysal and Emon. These central defenders must step up to squeeze the space and act as ball playing defenders to start attacks. Because there are only two in the back, they must be able to cover wide areas if the ball is switched quickly.

The midfield is the engine of this Barcelona side. Mishad and Rifat form a double pivot to shield the defense and recycle possession. Rana sits just ahead of them as a central midfielder to help connect the lines. In the half spaces, Munshi operates as an attacking midfielder on the left while Hridoy plays on the right. This five man unit allows the team to pass short from the back and move the ball through the thirds with ease.

The attacking front three looks to stretch the defense. Abdullah plays as a lone striker to hold up the ball and find the feet of his teammates. On the flanks, Robin plays as a winger on the left and Shahadat operates on the right. They look to isolate one on one situations against full backs or cut inside to create chances. The attackers press from the front to win it back high up the pitch.

One major strength is the ability to create wide overloads when the midfielders push forward. The team also benefits from numerical superiority in midfield which makes it hard for opponents to intercept passes.
