Starting Lineup

Barcelona aims for an aggressive attacking identity using a 4-2-4. This lineup is built to pin the opposition back and dominate the game through constant pressure in the final third. RAPHINHA plays on the left and often cuts inside to create overloads in the middle. LEWANDOWSKI acts as the primary striker, using his aerial strength and movement to find space in the box, while DANI OLMO plays as a second striker to link the midfield and the front line. This formation aims to create runs in behind and quick combinations in the final third.

One major advantage of this formation is the ability to press from the front with four attackers to win the ball back high up the pitch. The team also gains wide overloads as the full backs join the wingers to create extra passing lanes. This allows FC Barcelona to pin the last defender and force mistakes in the opposition half.
