Gyamfi acts as the last line of defense for Barcelona. The defensive unit functions as a flat back four with Muñoz at right back and Morales at left back. Raspanti and Netteb occupy the central roles, where they must be ready to step up and intercept or drop back to cover space. The full backs, Muñoz and Morales, often push forward to overlap, which requires Raspanti and Netteb to stay compact and maintain the line.

The midfield consists of a double pivot with Wind and Truyts working in the center. These two players act as the engine of the team, tasked to shield the defense and prevent central breakthroughs. Wind and Truyts must constantly move to cover passing lanes and then quickly switch play to the wide areas. Their role is to connect the back line to the front four by breaking the line with direct passes.

In the attacking third, the team uses four dedicated attackers to pin the opposition back. Banza plays as a right winger and Cerny acts as a left winger, both looking to cut inside or stretch the play wide. Noboa and Marin operate as a central strike partnership. The duo works together to press the opposition defenders, while Banza and Cerny use their movement to run into channels and create space for the midfielders.

A primary tactical advantage of this formation is the ability to press high in coordinated waves. Because there are four players already near the opponent, the team can suffocate the opposition in their own territory. Additionally, the presence of Banza and Cerny on the flanks creates wide overloads when the full backs join the run.
