In the attacking third, Norway uses three attackers to stretch the defense. Haaland acts as a lone striker, using his strength to hold up the ball and make runs in behind. Nusa plays as a wide winger on the left, looking to cut inside and create chances. On the right, Sørloth operates as an inverted winger to create overloads. The forwards are expected to press the opposition back line from the front, forcing long balls and winning the second ball to sustain the attack.
