Floder operates as the goalkeeper to organize the defensive unit. The back line functions as a back five with Macek anchoring the middle as the central defender. Prebsl and Králik act as the wide centre backs to provide cover and sweep behind the line. Hybš and Kostka play as attacking wing backs to provide the necessary width. Hybš pushes high to support the left flank, while Kostka carries the ball forward on the right side to support the attack.

The midfield functions as a double pivot. Ševčík and Samko occupy the two central roles to manage the middle of the pitch. Samko works to shield the defence and win the second ball, while Ševčík drives forward with the ball to connect the defensive and attacking lines. They must track back to help the defenders and ensure the team does not get bypassed in the middle. This pair is responsible for recycling possession and playing through the lines.

In the attacking phase, the team uses three attackers. Krobot acts as a lone striker to hold up the ball and press from the front. On the flanks, Šubert and John provide the primary threat. Šubert acts as an inverted winger who cuts inside to create chances, while John plays as a wide winger to stretch the defence. The wing backs Hybš and Kostka overlap the wingers to create numerical superiority. This formation allows for runs in behind and quick attacks in transition.

One main advantage of this formation is the compactness when defending in a low block. This makes it difficult for opponents to find space in the middle. Another strength is the ability to create wide overloads from the overlapping runs of Hybš and Kostka. This forces the opposition to defend against extra players and can isolate Krobot in one on one situations.
