AS Salé prefers to play a direct and vertical style of football through a 4-4-2 formation. This lineup is built to exploit space quickly and use two strikers to push the opposition back. The team looks to win the ball and move forward with pace to catch the opponent out of position.

Jahidul stays between the posts to organize the back line. The defensive unit functions as a flat back four with Billal acting as the left back and Sourov occupying the right back position. In the middle of the defense, Azim and Sabbir operate as the two central defenders. Azim provides strength in the air while Sabbir works to cover the space behind if the line is pushed up. This unit works together to hold the line and protect the middle of the pitch.

The midfield is organized into two banks of four to cover the width of the pitch. Tamim and Titas act as a double pivot to shield the defense and win the second ball. Tamim works to break the line with his passing while Titas stays deeper to protect the center. Further up, Shamim plays as the left attacking midfielder and Parvez plays on the right. Shamim and Parvez press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch and link the midfield to the attack.

AS Salé employs two forwards in a partnership to stretch the opposition. Shahriar operates as the left striker and Yasin plays as the right striker. These two work in combinations to pull defenders out of position. Shahriar looks to make runs in behind while Yasin works to hold up the ball and lay it off to the advancing midfielders. The forwards press the opposition back line to force a long ball and allow the midfield to regain possession.

This formation offers specific tactical advantages such as a compact defensive block that makes it hard to play through the center. The double pivot of Tamim and Titas ensures numerical superiority against single midfielders. Additionally, the team can create wide overloads when the wingers and full backs push up together.

The 4-4-2 formation provides AS Salé with a reliable way to maintain defensive discipline while remaining dangerous on the break. This lineup is best suited for matches against teams that play with a high line and leave space behind their defenders.
