AS Salé operates with a direct and vertical identity using a 4-4-2 formation. This lineup is built to exploit space quickly and hit teams on the transition. The team looks to play with speed in the final third, relying on a compact block to win the ball and move it forward immediately.

Jahidul stays between the posts to manage the defensive line. The back four consists of Sourov at right back and Billal at left back, who both provide width in the defensive phase. In the center, Azim and Sabbir act as the central defenders. Azim provides aerial strength while Sabbir covers the space behind to maintain the line. This unit functions to stay close together, making it hard for opponents to play through the middle.

Tamim works to intercept passes while Titas acts to carry the ball forward into the middle third. Ahead of them, Shamim and Parvez operate in the half spaces as attacking midfielders. Shamim and Parvez look to link the midfield to the attack, often making runs to support the strikers or pressing in a mid-block to win it back high up the pitch.

The attacking front line utilizes two forwards in a partnership. Shahriar and Yasin work together to stretch the opposition defense. Shahriar often acts to hold up the ball to bring others into play, while Yasin looks to make runs in behind the defenders. They press the opposition back line to force errors and long balls. When the team wins the ball, they look to hit in behind on the transition, using quick combinations to isolate defenders.

AS Salé gains a tactical advantage through their compactness when defending. By keeping the lines close, they make it difficult for the opponent to find gaps between the midfield and the back four. Another strength is the ability to use the wide areas, as the wingers and full backs can create overloads to help the team switch play.
