In the final third, the team uses three attackers to stretch the defence. Haaland serves as a powerful pressing centre-forward who can hold up the ball and pin the last defender. Raphinha and Yamal play as wide attackers who want to cut inside to create more central threats. The goal is to use the movement of Yamal and Raphinha to pull defenders away from Haaland, allowing him to arrive late into the box or win the header. This front three works to press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition.

One major advantage of this lineup is the massive numerical superiority in midfield.
