On the flanks, Balde and Fort provide the width, with Balde pushing high to act as a wide midfielder and Fort providing balance on the other side.

The attacking front three is designed to pin the opposition back and create scoring chances through combinations. Yamal plays as the central striker, looking to find space in the box or link up with his teammates. Gordon and Raphinha operate as wide forwards, with Gordon looking to cut inside and Raphinha using his work rate and dribbling to threaten the flank. This front line presses the opposition back line aggressively to force mistakes. The team uses the wide players to stretch the defense, creating space in the middle for late runs.
