Pedri uses his passing range to find teammates in tight spaces, while Bernal provides the stability needed to link the defense to the attack. Olmo plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, finding pockets of space to create chances. On the flanks, Eric and Balde provide the necessary width, acting as wide midfielders who can push high or drop back to help the defense.

The attacking front three looks to stretch the defense and create scoring opportunities. Raphinha leads the line as a pressing centre-forward, working hard to win the ball high up the pitch. Yamal operates as an inverted winger on the right, looking to cut inside and create, while Gordon plays on the left to provide width. This front line works in combinations to break the lines, often using quick passes to find runs in behind. The movement of Yamal and Gordon forces the opposition to spread wide, which opens up central channels for Olmo and Raphinha.

One major advantage for Barcelona is the numerical superiority in midfield, which allows them to recycle possession easily. The presence of five players in the middle makes it very difficult for opponents to win the second ball.
