Fermín plays as an attacking ten, looking to arrive late into the box and press aggressively in the center. This midfield group connects the two defenders to the front line, using short passes to move the ball through the thirds.

In the final third, Barcelona uses three attackers to stretch the defence. Raphinha acts as a pressing centre forward to lead the line and hunt for the ball. Yamal and Gordon operate as wide attackers, with Yamal ready to cut inside from the right and Gordon looking to pull wide on the left. The team attacks through combinations in tight spaces, often looking for Raphinha to hold up the ball so that Yamal or Fermín can make runs in behind.

This formation offers significant tactical advantages through numerical superiority in midfield and the ability to press high in coordinated waves.
