In the final third, the team uses three attackers to pin the last defender. Raphinha leads the line as a pressing centre forward, working to harass the opposition centre backs and hold up the ball. Yamal and Gordon operate as wide attackers, with Yamal cutting inside from the right to create goal scoring chances and Gordon stretching the play from the left. The attack relies on quick combinations and third man runs to break the line, often looking to deliver crosses or through balls to Raphinha when the defense is stretched.

This formation offers significant numerical superiority in midfield, making it very hard for opponents to find passing lanes through the center. The presence of Balde and Koundé allows for wide overloads that can isolate defenders in one on one situations.
