The front line utilizes three attackers to stretch the defense. Yamal acts as an inverted winger on the right to cut inside and create chances, while Adeyemi stays wide on the left to pull defenders away. Abdelkarim acts as a pressing centre-forward to lead the hunt for the ball from the front. This attacking trio focuses on quick combinations and making runs in behind to punish any mistakes. The team uses the width provided by Cancelo and Eric to create isolations for Yamal and Adeyemi in one on one situations.

A major advantage for Barcelona is the numerical superiority in midfield which makes it very hard for opponents to keep the ball. The presence of Pedri and Rodri allows the team to control the tempo while Fermín provides a threat from deep. Another strength is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, using the front three and the attacking midfielders to trigger a press as soon as the opponent tries to play out from the back.
