Felipe acts as the last line of defense, starting the build up from the back when necessary. The defense operates as a flat back four where NAHUEL plays as the left back and MARTÍN occupies the right back position. Both full backs are tasked to push up and provide width to support the attack. In the center, GONZALO and ALAN form the defensive pairing, with ALAN often covering for the full backs while GONZALO looks to intercept passes and step up into the midfield line.

The midfield features a three man midfield with a carrier and an attacking ten. TIAGO plays as the advanced midfielder behind the striker, looking to operate in the pockets between the lines. BRUNO and JABES operate in the central areas to connect the defense to the attack. JABES works to shield the defense and win the second ball, while BRUNO is expected to carry the ball forward and drive into the half spaces. This unit works to compress the midfield and ensure Tigre maintains a compact block when the ball is lost.

The attack utilizes three attackers across the front to create constant pressure. IGNACIO acts as a pressing centre-forward, leading the line by trying to pin the last defender and making runs in behind. SANTIAGO and IAN operate as wide wingers, with SANTIAGO staying wide to stretch the defense and IAN looking to cut inside to create goal scoring chances. The frontline is designed to create combinations through quick one-twos and to deliver crosses from wide areas when the full backs overlap the winger.

Tigre possesses significant tactical advantages through the ability to press high in coordinated waves. The presence of TIAGO behind IGNACIO creates numerical superiority in the final third, making it difficult for opponents to mark everyone. The team also benefits from the speed of transition, as the wide players SANTIAGO and IAN can break quickly once the midfield wins the ball back.
