Baltika aims to control the tempo through a high press and quick transitions using a 4-3-3. This formation is built to dominate the ball and push the opposition back into their own half. By using a high line, Baltika looks to win the ball back high up the pitch to create immediate scoring chances.

The goalkeeper 76 acts as the last line of defense when the team plays with a high line. In front of him, a flat back four consists of 76 at left back, 76 at right back, 76 as the left centre back, and 75 as the right centre back. The wide defenders 76 and 76 are tasked to push up and provide width, while the central pair must be ready to step up and squeeze the space. This defensive unit works together to maintain a compact block and protect the center of the pitch.

In the middle of the park, the team employs a three-man midfield with a single pivot. The player 73 sits in front of the defense to shield the back line and recycle possession. Next to him, 75 operates as an inverted eight to connect the lines and carry the ball forward. The player 76 plays as an attacking ten, looking to play through the lines and arrive late into the box. This midfield trio works to control the central areas and win the second ball.

The attacking unit uses three attackers across the front to stretch the opposition. On the left, 78 acts as an inverted winger who cuts inside to create space, while 75 occupies the right wing to provide width. The lone striker 75 serves as a pressing centre forward to pin the last defender and hold up the ball for others. This setup creates constant movement, allowing for runs in behind and cutbacks from the byline when the wingers get to the end line.

Baltika finds success through several tactical advantages. The formation allows for wide overloads when the full backs overlap the wingers, creating two on one situations. There is also a high capacity to press in coordinated waves, forcing the opponent into mistakes near their own goal. The speed of transition when winning the ball in midfield allows the front three to strike quickly before the defense can reset.

This 4-3-3 formation relies on high intensity and pressing to dominate matches. It is best suited for games against teams that try to build play slowly from the back.
