This is my favourite Barca formation for me. Victor Valdes is a veteran who can handle the pressure of big games well, and the back four are well-known enough. I also think Adriano will gain more versatility and confidence more and more while playing alongside the other three. Fabregas is a world-class midfield and he can be utilized anywhere around the midfield, and he's great both defensively and offensively, so I put him in his position to be able to regain possession and start a counter attack. Xavi and Iniesta bring an enormous around of stability and versatility and skill to the team. Alexis Sanchez can be in top form while fit, and plays really well with Messi. Messi can dribble, score, take free kicks, take corner kicks, assist, key pass, just about everything. Neymar is a great combination with Messi, too.
