Why I chose this formation:

This is my dream team. I use this formation because it has players all over the pitch, it has 2 defensive midfielders with one just ahead of the other one. The deeper one will be just ahead of the defensive line, his job is important. He needs to be with the defenders quite a lot, his job is to make all the tackles while the opposing team is attacking and when his team is attacking he needs to be behind the attack and ready to receive if they need to play back, so he is a supporting player, he also stays between the attackers and mids so he can make the interceptions. The fullbacks are also supporting cast, they push up when they can and back up the wingers. The defenders work together in a rotating fashion, if one has the ball the other stays behind as a 'last resort', other than that, they are always looking for a pass out wide or into the middle. I like having 1 striker, this gives him space to move without thinking, 'well I would stand over there and make a run, but the other striker will be too close to me'. I want my attacker to move from defender to defender in between the gaps and dragging defenders across to make a large gap for the attacking midfielder to make a run while everyone is concentrating on the striker. The attacking midfielder sits behind the striker (obviously not directly behind... or sitting), I would like to see through balls to the striker, playing wide, supporting the midfield, and the best part, taking shots. The wingers will be getting crosses into the striker or attacking midfielder or even the opposite winger, I want them to cut across and take shots or give through balls. When the winger is with the ball, the opposite winger will be coming into the back post waiting for a cross, and if the crosser wants to switch the play, the full back will be there to receive. I have a strong midfield because I believe that dominating the mid, dominates the game. I want possession and to keep the ball on the deck, no silly passes. Tiki taka one touch passing using triangles.

Why I chose these players:

Lloris: I believe he is the best goalkeeper in the world and I need a confident goalkeeper and one that can receive on the floor and can play with his defenders.
Ribery: Is a great defender and he is confident to push up the field into attack as well as defense.
Jordi Alba: Very similar to Ribery, I also like he has lots of experience in both attacking and defending roles.
Lahm: Strong defender, he pushes attackers off the ball and is very calm and content under pressure. He has a strong tackle and is so hard to get past.
Pique: This is a defender that I want backing up, Lahm so he is the last man. He is very quick, big and strong, which is what I need to stop counter attacks and his tackle is powerful. He is and all round fantastic defender.
Bale: He is a play maker and an amazing shooter, I wont be surprised if he scores a lot and make many more assists. He is a smart player and has quick reaction, that's what I need for possession football. He is also strong and has a strong tackle and puts lots of pressure on.
Hazard: Why not? He's amazing! He is an awesome play maker (we can't have enough of them) and can score anyway he wants, with his head, over the keeper, under the keeper from far and a good passer.
Ozil: His shots are amazing, he will be in the box attacking a lot and will be helping the midfield making passes and dribbles all the time. Ozil is my favorite midfielder.
Neymar: Very skillful, will almost always get a cross in he will help the defense and has an awesome touch, and not to mention he is only 21 and still has experience to gain.
Ronaldo: Similar to Neymar, just with more experience. He is quick and has a super powerful shot and is a great individual player and is a high scorer.
Messi: His job is scoring goals and he is the best in the world at it. His dribbling skills are superb, and he is so quick and amazing at shooting at speed his knowledge of the game is magnificent, he can see an open goal from a mile away. He is also a team player and a good play maker.

In conclusion, This is the best formation and team in the world and if you can make a better one, I'll give you a hinding and take the credit. :)
